Sulumits Retsambew Tumbling Again

I just noticed that three contestants dropped from their great positions in just 2 days before the end of the Sulumits Retsambew contests.

Sulumits Retsambew Winner was kicked out from second position, Pedee from third and Kaboon from some position on top page. Strange things are that they are kicked from all serps. For example you can’t find them anywhere on Google on any term related to Sulumits Retsambew. For example you can type pedeee.com sulumits retsambew and you will get Sunita entry. Same thing is for other two websites. So what can be reasons for this?

I have two theories.

First one is that they did something against Google Webmaster Guidelines. We all know that “winner” entry used automatic backlinking which I said are not allowed by Google. So he raised some flags and snap he was out off race.

Pedeee made good rankings but his content was not relevant to Sulumits Retsambew. It was fabricated content with bunch of links to his top page, from every paragraph on his site. It is possible that some Google algorithm detected this and he was out of race too.

I didn’t watched Kaboon site closely, so I don’t have a clue what and why happened with him, but he also had much of the old content that he changed to convince Google how his site actually talk about Sulumits Retsambew. For example how is it possible that he have blogposts from last year that are talking about our competition?

Second theory is that someone in Google put an eye on this contest. So he just went through the first two pages and kicked all entries he thought are not good. But then why some other entries are not kicked out, why they did not lost their ranking for other terms, why they did not lost their page rank, simply there is many “but” in this case.

And yes there is another theory. This is only temporary glitch in Google algorithms and they will be back before tomorrow morning.
For common webmasters this should be a good news. It shows how Google is very capable and dangerous to webmaster who want to go on the other side

Currently Sunita is holding second position and Sony with his .biz third.

Let’s hope that Google will not make even bigger drama from Sulumits Retsambew, and that we are not go where those three guys left.

Sulumits Retsambew Seo Contest – Day 36

When I saw results for Sulumits Retsambew today, I was greatly surprised, especially because I did not look few days on results. Whole first page except bewithcijo and slideshare entry is different. Lucky me I still see myself on the first position.
Sunita is not on the first page, disaster after she tried to recover second position? New entries are kabonfootprint on 4th, toprankseoblog by Afzal on 5th, then otooo on 6th and SulumitsRetsambew.biz on 7th. Very strange since site is offline fore more then a 7 days.
Twitter guy dropped fast, but there is now another twitter guy on first page on 9th position, and whitehatter on 10th position.

Very strange is that Google few days ago showed 200 000 indexed pages, and after that it showed drop on 158 000, and now it is on 189 000 indexed pages. Over the weekend I did not spent any time on Sulumits Retsambew because of orthodox Easter. I spent most of the time with family and friends. Now we are back on track with some great plans how to get new great backlinks to cement our place for this month.

Sulumits Retsambew Contest – Day 22

Long time no see – three days. I did not do anything over the weekend except little bit of link building. We have some small changes in our contest. There is no more wordpress entry. Google kicked it out after Wordpress has banned the entry because of rules violation. Now 3rd place is occupied by the Slideshare. Also we have two new contestants on the first page of Google. One is someone at Twitter and he got high seventh place. And other is renanorola.i.ph at 10th place. Other good news is that my Evil Science Sulumits Retsambew is on third position on second page, even I don’t promote that page at all . Also I am planning to enter with my myspace account http://www.myspace.com/sulumitsretsambew but currently I don’t have a time to work on it. Neither I have enough knowledge about myspace. Number of indexed pages related to Sulumits Retsambew nearly hit 100k. Current number is 95 000. Great isn’t it!?

Day 10 – Dancing

I again switched position with Sunita. She is first and I am second. I did not worked nothing serious yesterday. There is now 24 500 results in Google for the term Sulumits Retsambew. People are building links. But I think that there are still not more then 100 contestants. I have a feeling that this time, I will not back to the first place so easily, but I have few ideas what to change… Will wait a month to see will Sunita keep going strong like now… Most important is not to lose my track and do what I did until now… I did not yet started article marketing, simply I can not find time for that .
No other changes except that Webmaster Stimulus again jumped up few places. Yesterday I checked strategies from other guys and girls, and their links begin to show up. It looks there is no much differences between my tactics and their tactics. Best thing is, that I did not find any guys with blackhat tactics. It looks all playing fair or precious Google is keeping those away . Today again I will not spend much time on this site. Some of my other projects, my dayjob and my girl begin to suffer because of Sulumits Retsambew. Today my tactic is to check how they are going .

Google is my friend – Day 9

It looks I am back on the top in the Sulumits Retsambew contest. I was really in heart breaking situation . Anyway there is next strange situation. I dropped to third place yesterday, and last night I worked on blog, since I wanted to add last blog post to first page via Mini Loop, but when I added I did not liked how it came up, and I removed it. That version of the frontpage was maybe 30 seconds up. However Murphy happened, and Google bot indexed my page just in time when my post was on first page (click on cached version of my site bellow my Google result). Almost instantly I was moved up for one position above the wwe_fan9417 place. But Sunita was still on the top.
I went to sleep. Now I just woke up and see that I am on first page, but my site still is not indexed, and I am first ranked. Can it be that Google more like regularly refreshed frontpage, then static one? It looks it is better that blog is on the front page then on some under located page.

I will wait to see what will happen when Google realize that I removed additional content. If that came bad, I will consider making my first page as a blog and merging about and frontpage pages. Other changes are again not big. Only webmaster stimulus on some org domain came up on first page on position 9.

Sulumits Retsambew Contest – Day 7

Day 7 on Sulumits Retsambew and nothing seriously changed. We are still holding the first place. My favorite „enemy webmaster“, Sunita (ChillingBreeze) from India is still on the second place. We had a great conversation, and I realized that I am facing serious opponent with, a lot of knowledge and will. I adopted strategy changes because of her . She has less backlinks then me, but her entry have a bunch of strong links from article directories.
Afzalkhan loosed position because of wordpress hosted guy. Quite strange situation, since I don’t see any backlinks for 2sulumitsretsambew and the guy is almost without content.
Few new web 2.0 pages appeared on the first page, but I predict that they will not have breath for longer treks: D

Google now show there are 3800 pages for Sulumits Retsambew term and 7250 for sulumitsretsambew. Most of them are links that support contestant entries, and I think there is no more then 100 contestants in this moment.

Around Google SERP 8 and bellow I noticed few interesting new contestants.

My strategy change in Sulumits Retsambew race is not big.
I just decided that I will enter with all my links I can get as soon as possible, since I am sure that Google add value to the age of the backlinks. However that can be double sided knife. It is very easy, that with too much links getting daily Google might consider this as a spam. This is also questionable, since on that way your opponents would ruin your business to much easily.
I got question on email what are healthy links, which I will cover in special post.

Sulumits Retsambew Contest – Day 5

I am going well. I am still in the lead but there are plenty of changes. Major are: afzalkhan.org popped on third place and my friend Slavko dropped to 4th. However I believe he will be back very soon. A-sulumits-retsambew site dropped on last position on the first page, Bewithcijo with his .blogspot.com domain dropped to no6. A white hatter guy is advancing slowly, he is on second page in the middle. Web 2.0 contestants are losing their breath. Probably after 2 weeks, nobody will be on the first page.

I worked hard these past five days and I am sensing burnout effect. I don’t know how I will overcome this. In my last burnout effect lasted for about two weeks, when I did not do a single thing for given time. I yesterday restumbled my h1 h2 h3 tags and I have to prepare tags for individual pages and some more small things. With that done, my on-seo page optimization will be over. I am thinking to write every day about how people advance – up or down.
