There are only two days until Sulumits Retsambew officially ends. Yesterday I talked with Will and he show me winner badges . I must say that they are magnificent and that I will keep the first place until end and earn one of those shiny things.

I finished article on How I Did It my Sulumits Retsambew and I must say there are six pages of materials. For those who will feel bothered to read all that there is shorter version of half page. If I stay first I will publish that at Sunday Noon GMT, right after winners are declared.

Sunitas Sulumits Retsambew jumped to forth position, and she started line of top quality articles every link building strategy in details. You should defiantly check that since I don’t plan to do the same. So if someone is interested for deep strategy reasons those are great infos for them.

I realized that some of the competitors use some automatic link building tools like Sulumits Retsambew Winner entry. I know that their success look seductively and maybe you are thinking to use same strategy, but don’t do that. Google don’t like automatic link exchanges and soon as they figure it out they will track down all of them. Those systems were popular ten years ago and they are obsolete for serious long term ranking and trends that are dominating today.
Anyway I am running out of ideas about what to write.

Sulumits Retsambew 27 days to go

Well, instead of counting days ascending, since this day we are counting days until end of the Sulumits Retsambew descending. Yesterday major changes happened.

New forces are going strong, and I must admit I am scared of their advance. Since time is passing its risky to lose position, since now you don’t have time anymore to recover it. Sunitas Sulumits Retsambew and Sony are lost their positions, and winner entry pedee took their positions. Discodog lost two positions and its now on place six. Sunita also mentioned this fluctuations and people last minute activity.

How to defend my position? I am starting to recover my links and gaining new ones. Now I am introducing in fight links on some of my pages where I kept them in the case I need few quickie ones. Will go aggressively with well indexed forums. Also trying to make few more posts that will people want to link and talk about.

Today is day when number of indexed pages went over 2 million. Yes 2 million. I am wondering how much other seo contest had. Now we have bunch of contestants with 10k+ backlinks for their entries. As I said I am starting to recover my backlinks, and already I am back to my old number of 15,8 k backlinks. I am hoping that I can cross the number of 25k backlinks until end of the contest.

Sulumits Retsambew Day 101

Now after hundred days are passed in Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest this entry is still positioned as number one on Google.

Last two months started few days ago and some serious players announced that they will become active at this time. Also few regular members announced extra push to try to bring up their places little bit higher. Because of that I need also to become more active. Curently I don’t have any specific plans, maybe some link baiting articles would be smart move. Bad thing is that I did not worked on my entry for over a ten days, except getting couple of links daily.

I am hardly catching Sunitas number of backlinks. She is currently at 16k and me on 15,5k. Nothing serious is happening on the first page. Few entries popup now and then, but its nothing serious for now.

Google show enormous 820 000 indexed pages where Sulumits Retsambew is mentioned. It is very close to my predicted amount of over million indexed pages.

Sulumits Retsambew Contest – Day 86

Time is passing. Today is 86 day in Sulumits Retsambew and we have 67 days before contest end. Google is playing with indexed pages and there is less pages now indexed then on contest day 79. Google show 653k indexed pages. First page is similar as before. Biz entry who is playing with it is back on second position. He deleted his page few times, he dropped few times from first page, but it looks that Google like his entry and it always give him back his second position.
My link building is going quite well, I almost catched Sunita and her 14 600 backlinks. I am currently at 13 800. Big job if we know that she had advance of over 5k backlinks, 12k in front of mine 7k. You could say that she is forcing me to play harder.
Soon I will deploy few of my latest way to gain backlinks, I just don’t have time to do it right now.

I am also wondering is anyone interested that I pack this simple theme I used and which have countless number of custom onpage optimization and tweaks?

Sulumits Retsambew Contest – Day 79

Over half of the contest is already behind us, and it looks as it was just few days ago when we all started this epic Sulumits Retsambew battle. What to say? I learned a lot. I made bunch of new friends. Everyday someone contact me to say that I do great job . Thank you all for your support. I got the new job. So it looks everything going good for me, but I am wondering for how long. Two PR updates passed. First was somewhere 10 days after the beginning of the contest, and normally everyone got PR 0, second much earlier then expected, was few days ago and that one was real disappointment, but also a proof that page rank don’t count so much if you have most relevant page in the niche . Just for the records, some contestants got even PR 5.

Sulumits are very hard working people. They constantly build backlinks. Again, the proof! Google show 737k indexed pages for the term “Sulumits Retsambew”. New people are regularly showing in the contest, but first page looks very the same as 20 days ago. It looks there is no more big changes. I hope it will stay like this. Again I did not worked on my entry for over 5 days. I am getting really serious problem with motivation to continue the work with same rhythm. Hope Google will not punish me.

Sulumits Retsambew Contest Day 54

What is new in Sulumits Retsambew contest? Lots of new entries and lots of new faces . Every week first page is restumbled, but good thing is that first few entries are unchanged. We are still holding the first place while Sony with his biz entry and Sunita with sulumitsretsambewno.com are closely following us. First page now again have 3 web 2.0 entries. Most of the contestants predicted that they will lose track after first month, but Slideshare, Mixx and Reddit are still here.

Interesting is that forum entry on tareeinternet.com is going strong. And it looks it is just going as is. No link building or any web promotion . Maybe I should register.

Google is showing 280k indexed pages. Much less then I predicted. Also number of indexed pages few days was nearly 500k but it looks Google deindexed much of them. Or most likely that number is wrong .

I stopped my work on this entry, and I am worrying that if I don’t start, soon will lose my first position.

I would like also to say that my personal contest domain give away are near the end time. One more week and that’s it. So if you want to catch free domain feel free to drop comment here.

Sulumits Retsambew Seo Contest – Day 36

When I saw results for Sulumits Retsambew today, I was greatly surprised, especially because I did not look few days on results. Whole first page except bewithcijo and slideshare entry is different. Lucky me I still see myself on the first position.
Sunita is not on the first page, disaster after she tried to recover second position? New entries are kabonfootprint on 4th, toprankseoblog by Afzal on 5th, then otooo on 6th and SulumitsRetsambew.biz on 7th. Very strange since site is offline fore more then a 7 days.
Twitter guy dropped fast, but there is now another twitter guy on first page on 9th position, and whitehatter on 10th position.

Very strange is that Google few days ago showed 200 000 indexed pages, and after that it showed drop on 158 000, and now it is on 189 000 indexed pages. Over the weekend I did not spent any time on Sulumits Retsambew because of orthodox Easter. I spent most of the time with family and friends. Now we are back on track with some great plans how to get new great backlinks to cement our place for this month.

Contest Day 26

I don’t regularly watch anymore this contest, but I am regularly building links and I surprise myself with every new look on results. It looks one of the untouchables lost place. Sunita is no more on 2nd place, she dropped to no 7. I hope she will get back. But she still have virus on her blog. Hope she will manage to clean it.
I will dedicate my next post to this intrusive pesk. Since this site got infected as well. But I managed to clean it in a record time for maybe 15 minutes

Slideshare holds the second place, Afzal khan holds third. .biz entry jumped to five, and then that Sulumits Retsambew twitter user at number six. Firetown with his donation entry managed last position on first page.

My Evil Science advanced one more position and it is now on second page second result.

Google has indexed 112k results.

Day 24: Contest updates

Here we are again, keeping eye on our contestants in Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest. Major changes happened last night. Don’t worry people, we are still first . Slideshare entry has overtaken Sunita. Slideshare is now on 2nd place, and Sunita is on third. Also Afzalkhan passed Blogspot entry so they are not 3rd and 4th. Renanrola is not anymore on last page of first page, he jumped for one position on 9th place. As I said I did not do anything over the weekend, but is crucial not to drop my continuity in link building. It looks that other people also slowed down with link building. Sunita is staying on the same amount of links maybe 500 hundred more then me. Then on second position is me, and after me is Sony with his biz domain and around 900 backlinks. Afzal and Cijo are surprisingly good for their backlinks. But strange position is sulumitsretsambew.com entry, on second page with only few backlinks and no content. This is proof how much keywords in domain name are important. Some guys have thousands of backlinks but they all have old domains which are already developed.

Great news also is that Google passed 100k indexed pages and it is now on 105k, and first month of the contest is not over yet.

Sulumits Retsambew Contest – Day 19

Nothing new in the Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest! We are still holding the first place. Sunita is all over the net and she overtaken my entry with backlinks maybe 4 days ago. First page is not changed almost at all. However, 3rd position 2sulumitsretsambew.wordpress.com is banned for violating TOS of the wordpress few days ago. But anyway it is still staying on 3rd page. My suggestion from now on is stay away from wordpress free blog service. Use blogger or something else. Slideshare entry is still located very high, currently on 4th place. My Evil Science blogpost about Sulumits Retsambew http://www.evilscience.org/sulumits-retsambew-seo-contest/ jumped unexpectedly on second page 5th results.

Google indexed 73000 pages for the term Sulumits Retsambew, so it looks that contestants are still on fire and they constantly build links. I almost stopped working on this entry, just building 5-10 backlinks daily. On Sunday I will dedicate 3 to 4 hours to this project if I don’t lose my position until then. I am still not on Article Submission strategy, and that is my first priority for my first free time.
I realized also that free directory submission is now under big Question, since many free directories with good PR are overwhelmed with submissions. When checked few of my submission I found out only that my links are on queue of few thousands links. They probably will be accepted next year not next month.

PR update happened too finally. All my sites went good. One site gained PR which he lost 2 updates ago. One dropped from 4 to 3. And others continued unchanged.

As you can see our entry got PR 0. And I am disappointed with that, since I have nice collection of backlinks. Probably it was not enough time from the beginning of the contest to the beginning of Google PR update to apply changes. See you for 3-4 months
Other Sulumits on first page also all got PR 0, and I did not checked lower pages…
