Sulumits Retsambew

It looks that because of often talk about Opera, Google decided that Sulumits Retsambew is somehow little bit related to Opera browser. Maybe because of that my Opera Sulumits Retsambew Blog is advancing like a crazy. I don’t know where was my blog positioned but after little bit optimization it went to position 29. After that I posted few blogposts and it went to 24. I again posted few posts and managed to get few backlinks and Opera Sulumits Retsambew went to number 19. In that moment I really got impressed especially because I can not do onpage seo for Opera blogs and I gave it link on this blog and it went to number 14. What is next? I decided that main goal is to bring another page of mine to frontpage, lets see can I achieve that . Doubt that 2k backlink and maybe 300 with Sulumits Retsambew anchor will help that. I should think something to get more relevant to our keyword, maybe to post two posts per day?

I noticed few days ago that my keyboard enter key does not work in Google search bar from my Opera browser. I researched little bit, and here is what I found.
Google added recently some new features to its search. But some of them like “query suggestion” have broken Javascript in them, so it stop enter functionality. Strange thing is that Google give one version of javascript to Firefox and another to Opera. If you mask Opera as Firefox everything will work, what gives me idea that Google maybe want to steal some of Opera browser users to their Chrome, but maybe I am just paranoic.

However don’t switch to another browser , here is workaround until Google resolve this issue.

Go to google site you use, then click on “preferences” and under “Query Suggestions” section select “Do not provide query suggestions in the search box.” and save the Preferences.

After that your enter will work as supposed to work.

There is another fix in the form of User JS. I did not test it but people say it works too.
Here is it http://www.tomec.net/files/google-enter.js. Just insert it in your User JS folder of Opera.

I just woke up and I can tell you a great news. We are still on the top . Situation is getting harder. ChillinBreeze is now on the second place (which is not surprising, notice the quality of the page, then backlinks from article websites, social bookmarking sites, directory sites, I think we can see only a top of the iceberg here, since Google do not show us all backlinks), Slideshare dropped on third, Afzal dropped on 4th, new player is on the 5th place (someone on Wordpress.com is doing a great job). I have registered sulumitsretsambew.wordpress.com maybe I should build it little bit, and get exclusive link to my .org domain. Slavko with his .biz is dropping further. He is now on number 6. White Hatter is on the middle of second page again. Few people will ask why do I mention him? Well he is on old domain, domain which was contest entry for Busby SEO test, and now for this one. He/She built a bunch of backlinks already and now he is doing all over again …

I yesterday lost three hours on optimizing site (one hour on code highlighting plugin problem). Today I will work only 1 hour. I don’t want to risk burnout I mentioned yesterday. I added Opera button since I am very big Opera supporter. Maybe you should try it. In next few days I will probably dedicate few posts to my Opera.

You are the validation freak or not (but you just want to have xhtml valid page) and every time you embedding some YouTube videos, you don’t want to brake validation? Problem is EMBED tag which don’t pass xhtml validation. You need to remove it and you can do it on this way…
