Today is the third month of Sulumits Retsambew seo contest. In past 3 months this site performed extremely well. I learned a lot. I made new friends. We have some milestones too.
Over the past three months this site got: 6947 unique visitors
People stay at average 2:22 min at the site.
We got visitors from 106 countries most of them from USA, India, Bosnia, Indonesia and Serbia.
51% traffic came from search engines, 33% from referring sites and 15% from direct acces.
“Sulumits Retsambew” is the main search phrase for search engine traffic and it makes 42% of our traffic.

As I promised here is my Google Analytics screenshot. As you can see visits until last few days and few new articles were at average 60 daily. Also you can see how Alexa is wrong. Our current rank is 477 157. I have a few sites that are getting over 1000 visitors daily and their rank is far bellow 1 500 000. But maybe webmasters use more Alexa toolbar – I don’t. Usually visitors spend around 3 min on my site. I am thinking to add some related post plugin to try to keep them little bit more here. Two days ago when I passed 150 visits I added adsense too see how 336×280 ad will perform since I never tried most converting ad unit. I always use 160×600 and 468×60. 56% visitors are coming through the search engine, 30% by referrer sites and 14% by direct traffic (type-in). I think that is fairly good.
Here are my traffic visits by country. I should do some stuff to get visitors from the completely white countries especially South Americans.
Here is one very useful tool for all webmasters that use Opera browser. I already talked about this on my blog, but it deserves to be mentioned here to.
Opera SEOBAR is very powerful tool for people who do search engine optimizations so as for web-site promoters and analysts. It basically show you site Alexa PR and Google PR, and on only few click you can check is given site listed in most known social bookmarking sites, or you can see amount of backlinks on Google, Yahoo or Russian Yandex. SEObar is compatible to work with Opera 8 and Opera 9 browser.

Week already passed since the start of Sulumits Retsambew contest and I though maybe it would be interesting to share traffic stats. Since I was constantly until today on first position it would be interesting if other guys can publish in comments their stats so we can compare them. My stats are from Google Analytics, since Awstats went dead on my hosting and I am lost without it. Also I sometimes think that Google Analytics don’t count so good as Awstats or maybe I just don’t like less show visitors even if they are same people. So here is my Google Analytics print screen.
